In the journey of modern manufacturing development, establishing a unified, intelligent digital core serves as the cornerstone for enterprises to achieve operational excellence and sustainable growth.
It is upon this shared understanding that Hüttenes-Albertus Casting Materials (China) Co., Ltd. (referred to as ‘HA China’) has recently partnered with Acloudear, an SAP Platinum Partner, to formally launch the SAP Cloud ERP project. This initiative aims to reshape and upgrade existing business processes by introducing globally leading enterprise management solutions.
As one of the world’s largest suppliers of foundry auxiliary materials, the century-old German chemical enterprise Hüttenes-Albertus (HA) serves as a global strategic partner to numerous international automotive brands and a pioneer in foundry processes worldwide.
Hüttenes-Albertus China, a key strategic foothold in Asia, has cultivated extensive expertise in foundry auxiliary materials. However, as its operations continue to expand, limitations within its existing IT architecture have become apparent.
The independent operation of the Yonyou and Kingdee systems used by the Nantong production company and Shanghai sales company created barriers in data and processes. This resulted in disconnects between production and sales information, with business and financial data unable to synchronise in real time, posing challenges to the group’s integrated management and refined operations.
To fundamentally overcome these bottlenecks and achieve the strategic objectives of ‘unified management, cost reduction and efficiency enhancement’, Hüttenes-Albertus China collaborated with Acloudear to conduct an in-depth assessment of the current situation and evaluate potential solutions.
Aligned with the group’s global strategy, Acloudear ultimately recommended the SAP Cloud ERP solution to establish a unified, transparent, and efficient management platform, formally launching this project.
The implementation of this SAP Cloud ERP project will centre on Ouzhuai China’s core business requirements, focusing on resolving practical pain points and striving to deliver five key values:
01 Process Integration
Integrate end-to-end processes spanning sales, procurement, production, warehousing, and finance to establish a unified ‘digital nerve centre,’ eliminating information silos.
02 Business-Finance Integration
Ensure high-level synchronisation between operational activities and financial data, enabling real-time, precise financial accounting and management insights.
03 Cost Transparency
Implement a standard cost accounting system to achieve accurate cost calculation and in-depth analysis, providing robust data support for operational decision-making.
04 Supply Chain Collaboration
Optimise the planning system from demand to supply, enhancing inventory turnover efficiency and market responsiveness while strengthening overall supply chain resilience.
05 Group-Wide Governance
Establish a model supporting multi-company collaborative operations, reinforcing the group’s overall operational insight and strategic control capabilities.
This project is being implemented by the Acloudear team, renowned for their extensive multinational implementation experience. Both teams will collaborate closely to ensure the project progresses according to the established roadmap, progressing through critical phases including blueprint design, system implementation, and user testing, culminating in successful go-live.
The successful launch of Ouzhou Aichina’s SAP Cloud ERP project signifies the company’s steadfast advancement towards an era of intelligent manufacturing and digital operations. This initiative will undoubtedly lay a robust digital foundation for enhancing customer service and maintaining industry leadership.
