At the event, Tankler Wang, Vice President of Services at Cloudera, delivered a keynote speech titled “Intelligence Unleashed: Powering SAP Cloud with Data & AI,” delving into the three core challenges businesses face in their digital transformation journey and the strategies to address them, focusing on cloud ERP, data, and AI.

He pointed out that traditional ERP systems, due to their high degree of customization, result in high upgrade costs and delayed responses. In contrast, SAP Cloud ERP standardizes business processes through best practices, covering 80% of common scenarios, significantly reducing enterprises’ reliance on custom development. He cited the success story of a global logistics company that implemented SAP Cloud ERP using Cloudera’s Fit-to-Standard methodology, reducing the implementation cycle by 60% and laying the foundation for global expansion and innovation.

Facing data silos as the biggest obstacle to AI implementation, Tankler proposed a breakthrough solution: a unified data layer. By building a unified data layer through SAP Business Data Cloud, the barriers between SAP and non-SAP systems are broken down, enabling a unified view across business processes. Taking green ledgers as an example, by unifying the management of financial data and carbon footprint data, the efficiency of ESG report generation has been compressed from tens of minutes to tens of seconds, achieving a hundredfold increase in efficiency. This data layer is not only a “telescope” for companies to gain business insights, but also a “fuel tank” for AI applications—these high-quality data products will directly empower real-time decision-making and provide companies with accurate business insights.

In terms of AI implementation, Tankler emphasized the fundamental differences between SAP Business AI and general-purpose AI on the market. General-purpose AI relies on public network data, posing risks of unverifiable results; in contrast, SAP Business AI is based on real-time business data and industry semantic models, ensuring traceable and compliant results. For example, in the human resources field, SAP’s AI assistant Joule uses natural language processing technology to help employees generate meaningful performance and development goals based on business data, saving up to 60% of working hours.

Additionally, Tankler used Acloudear’s self-developed AIOS intelligent customer service platform as a typical case study to vividly demonstrate Acloudear’s capabilities in enterprise AI implementation. Based on RAG engine technology, the platform not only provides 24/7 intelligent question-and-answer services but also improves customer issue diagnosis efficiency by 50% while reducing service costs by 30%. He emphasized that the value of AI lies in its deep integration with real-world business scenarios, moving from “usable” to “effective.”
